Robbie Chadwick "veldt jewellery'
I started my jewellery brand about two years ago while I was living in Bali. I’ve always loved jewellery, and while I was there, I spent time with an older Balinese silversmith who was kind enough to let me hang around and learn from him. I began designing a few pieces with his help, just for fun, and when friends started asking if I could make some for them too, it all kind of grew from there.
These days, I focus on designing while working closely with skilled local artisans who bring each piece to life using 925 silver and beautiful natural gemstones. For me, it’s always been about connection — whether it's the story behind a stone, the person who wears it, or where the inspiration came from. I love hearing back from people who buy the jewellery — where they’ve worn it, what it means to them. Every piece feels like a little shared story, and that’s what keeps me doing what I do.

LABRADORITE
There’s something almost otherworldly about labradorite — the way it catches the light and flashes with unexpected colour, like a secret only it knows. At first glance, it can seem dark or subtle, but tilt it slightly and it reveals shades of blue, green, gold, and even violet — a natural shimmer known as labradorescence. It’s this quiet kind of magic that drew me to the stone in the first place.
Each piece of labradorite is shaped by hand, with care and intention. The raw stone is cut and polished just enough to bring out its depth, without losing its natural texture. I work closely with artisans who understand how to let the stone speak for itself — every slice is different, every reflection a little surprise. I pair it with 925 sterling silver because the cool tone of the metal complements labradorite’s mystery — not competing with it, but holding space for it.
